I have not posted any for they lack any true substance. They range from suggesting I join the socialist in Cuba and China to anti-abortion sentiments. (While I support a woman’s right to choose, I have not nor will I make it a subject on this blog. My viewpoint on is just not relevant.

The subject of tyranny is.

I do not wish to live in a land of dictatorship or tyranny. That is why I live in the United States. Until Donald Trump, I never worried about expressing my views.

So why this post…

Donald Trump’s continued attacks and statements of an unfair election. It is a disgrace. If successful it would result in tyranny. Our election system becomes a sham, controlled by the courts and political leaders. These attacks must stop.

I did not vote for Donald Trump in 2016. He did win the election and I accepted the results.

His rhetoric began of an unjust election claiming he won both the popular and electoral vote. It was important for him that the size of the crowd at his inauguration was bigger than Barack Obama’s. It was not. These lies were unacceptable. It demeans the office of the President.

Past Presidents…

It is significant the Donald Trump has not sought the advice of previous presidents. He has chosen to attack his predecessors. Donald Trump felt he did not need experience or advice.

The only thing important was blind loyalty to Donald Trump. Dictator require loyalty. It was the first indication the Donald Trump was not up to being a leader of a democracy.

His failures and his accomplishments occurred not through discussion and compromise but through fiat. He is not a suitable leader for a democracy. The most notable example is health care. The release of His plan will be in two weeks.

His boarder wall needed a state of emergency, which a republican congress voted to not approve. He vetoed this measure and construction of the wall continues.

Donald Trump is not a leader of a democracy. He is a tyrant.

Rebekah Jones

Florida Republican governor Ron DeSantis is a Donald Trump supporter. He has had a continuing battle with fired website designer Rebekah Jones. She was responsible for the original design and reporting of COVID-19 on the Florida State Website. The State of Florida fired Rebekah, reportedly because she refused to manipulate the data to support DeSantis desired message on the pandemic in Florida.

Rebekah again made the news this week. The Guardian provides the following report of the raid of her home. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/dec/07/florida-police-raid-data-scientist-coronavirus. A recent hack of the Florida website was the excuse. Armed police on a search warrant enter her home and confiscated among other things her cellphone.

The cellphone provides a record of her phone calls and puts at risk those former co-workers who have continued to have contact with Rebekah.

This is the action of a dictatorship and is not worthy of a democracy.

So we are in a fight for democracy

The democracy our ancestors fought to create and maintain hangs by a thread. Donald Trump and his allies must not win this war.

This war does not end with the January Georgia Run-off Election. Nor does it end with Joe Biden’s inauguration. The battles for our democracy continue forever.

Vigilance is necessary. Voting is our best bullet.

Tyranny Hecklers… I recently had a series of hecklers. I have not posted any for they lack any true substance.
