Basically Barr&#8217;s election investigation found no systemic fraud which would overturn the election of Joe Biden.  Donald Trump continues to collect money to support his &#8220;legal efforts&#8221; to overturn the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trump&#8217;s request for &#8220;Legal Expenses&#8221;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Politico reports:  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2020\/11\/12\/trump-fraud-claims-fundraising-436188\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2020\/11\/12\/trump-fraud-claims-fundraising-436188<\/a>.  According to the report donationsd are not challenging election results.  The 60 %funds go to &#8220;to a new PAC started and controlled by the president.  The funds can pay for a wide range of activities&#8221;  The RNC receives the rest of the donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So Trump is raising money under false pretenses.  Surprise, Surprise.  He is raising money to remain relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trump and Kushner companies were major beneficiaries of PPP Loans.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AOL reports:  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aol.com\/release-ppp-loan-recipients-reveal-053800695.html?guccounter=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.aol.com\/release-ppp-loan-recipients-reveal-053800695.html?guccounter=1<\/a>.  This article reports who received the small business CARES Act loans.  The report describes loans to Trump and Kushner related addresses.  These loans were more than $3.65 million of CARES money.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The loans to Trump and Kushner properites included a $2,164,543 went to the Triomphe Restuarant Corp., at the Trump International Hotel &amp; Tower in New York City.  The company reported the money didn&#8217;t go to keeping any jobs.  It later closed.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The article points to cases where a major conflict of interest occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other thing of interest is the report also redact the receiver of many loans.  As we have known for a long time transparency is not a long suit of the Trump presidency.  Ranting on Twitter does not change this fact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">John Durham&#8217;s  Appointment as Special Counsel<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The special counsel qualifications expressly prohibit anyone currently employed as a federal employee to a special counsel position.  John Durham current position is US Attorney.  As federal government employee, he is not  eligible for the position of special counsel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-wordpress wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-raw-story\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.rawstory.com\/2020\/12\/bill-barr-may-have-made-a-key-mistake-in-appointing-secret-special-counsel-to-investigate-joe-biden\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This appointment creates a problem for Joe Biden on many fronts.  He has a conflict of interest in firing a special counsel investigating his son and his relationship to his son.  He can not do this and stay above the political fall out.  Bill Barr and Donald Trump are setting a landmine, similar to the Mueller investigation for Joe Biden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Donald Trump has a goal between now and Joe Biden&#8217;s inauguration.  He wants Joe Biden to fail.  The pain that failure causes US citizens and residents is not important.  The goal is to hurt Joe Biden&#8217;s election in 2024.
