http://nobodyretires.com/index.php/2020/11/01/cautiously-optimistic/. Now nearly 2 weeks after the election. I am optimistic about Joe Biden’s January 20th Inauguration.

The Million MEGA March turned into the 10,000 MAGA march yesterday. Falling about 1% short of its goal. Under Donald Trump, groups such as QANON and Proud Boys flourished. After the election, these groups are deciding now is not the time for revolution.

Donald Trump will fall short of proving fraud in courts because there was no major fraud. Continued attempts by Donald Trump to prove otherwise will only hurt any future political plans.

It is time for the transition to Biden to begin

Donald Trump hurts himself further with his baseless accusations of fraud. His failure to accept the election outcome will further cement his disdain for democracy in the future. It will limit his chances of running again in 2024.

The only question now is when will Donald Trump accept the outcome and begin the transition process. How long will this lawless president attempt to hold on to the presidency which belongs to the will of the people and not to Donald Trump.

The people have spoken, Donald Trump. It is time to get back to work. You can golf every day after your retirement on January 20, 2024.

Should Donald Trump be Convicted of his crimes?

Certainly no president has deserved jail more. His crimes are numerous. I don’t want Joe Biden or his administration involved in action against Donald Trump.

Criminal litigation against Donald Trump would be divisive. I worry that we could never find a jury of his peers willing to convict Donald Trump. The result would be spending large sums of money with little gain. Donald Trump and his allies end up winning in most legal scenarios I envision.

It is time to move on…

Accept Joe Biden as our president and start healing our old wounds.
