I’m not certain I’ve every seen a former president campaign as energetically as Barack Obama has for Joe Biden. It is fun to watch. Oh, he gets his digs into our current president, but he does it with humor.

He mocks Donald Trump for whining about COVID. Our former president tells us just how much Donald Trump doesn’t get it and I couldn’t agree with him more.

It sure would be telling if Florida goes for Biden. I’m cheering him on.

The military which has been voting absentee for years are out of luck. To Donald Trump our military who are overseas, are truly “suckers” and “losers” and don’t really matter.

He expects the results on election night and will not accept results which take the time to count all the votes. Many states do not begin counting mail-in ballots until after the polls close on Nov 3.

As least one state saw the problem an proposed counting the ballots ahead of time. The courts turned them down and insisted that the law not be changed. The republican’s in Pennsylvania and throughout the country put road blocks which suppress voter turnout.

In Texas it is one drop box per county, for vote by mail.

And now he has stacked the Supreme Court to suppress voter rights and steer the election in his direction. Any vote in the Supreme court where Amy Comey Barrett does not recues herself is not valid. Donald Trump’s stated purpose for seating her was to sway the election. She can not be considered impartial.

Even then a Supreme Court vote along partisan lines is steeling the election for Donald Trump. So what do we do?

If we are to continue to enjoy Barack’s speeches, Biden needs to win in a landslide. Quietly, Trump has signed Executive Orders which make it easier from him to dismiss those who disagree.

Reelect Donald Trump will almost certainly mean the firings of Dr. Fauci, Dr. Redfield and others who espouse scientific ideas on health, environmental concerns including climate change. He will continue to divide the country into Red and Blue states and punish those who have the audacity to elect democratic governors and mayors.

Again Donald Trump doesn’t build but he tears down and divides.
