{"id":474,"date":"2020-03-13T18:17:36","date_gmt":"2020-03-13T18:17:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nobodyretires.com\/?p=474"},"modified":"2020-03-13T18:38:48","modified_gmt":"2020-03-13T18:38:48","slug":"coronavirus-threat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nobodyretires.com\/index.php\/2020\/03\/13\/coronavirus-threat\/","title":{"rendered":"Coronavirus Threat?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Donald Trump&#8217;s Suggestions&#8230;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t panic, continue about your daily business, wash your hands, and don&#8217;t touch your face&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My question with those of you who support our pathelogically lying president.  Is what will limit the spread of the disease more than any other action?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To not continue business as usual.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I find it ironic that those of us who have decide to not travel, eat out less, stay at home are the ones who will help make Donald Trump&#8217;s prediction of the coronavirus less deadly true.  I find it ironic that if those of us who stop doing business as usual are the ones who will make Donald Trump a profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Donald Trump will take credit for each and every non-fatality in the statistics which we who didn&#8217;t believe him and changed our behaviors without his advice are the real reason there is credit to be taken anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Donald Trump is managing the coronvirus as an exercise in statistics.  Each death is only a number to him.  It is not a relative or a friend.  This statistic is an abstract number based on the number of cases and the number of deaths.  Donald Trump will compare the numbers against the H1N1 numbers which occurred during the Obama presidency.  Even if the numbers are unfavorable Trump will talk about how much more severe the coronavirus was then H1N1, ignoring the fact he did little on the front end to slow its progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Obama presidency created  new post on the National Security Council to lead in the tracking of new diseases.  That post has been abolished by Donald Trump.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> So I chose to stay put.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the benefit of those around me and even for those Trump supports who won&#8217;t understand, that by not spreading the disease (no guarantees but reduced probability) I am helping Donald Trump with his message going forward.  What he doesn&#8217;t understand, is I personally no longer listen to his lies and deception.  His willingness to take credit for what others have done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statistics are not yet counted on coronavirus.  I chose to put my effort into helping the statistics Donald Trump will certainly use if they reflect favorably on him.  I do this not for Donald Trump, but for my fellow Americans.
