What does it take for tyrannical trump to admit he is wrong…
I read the news today with more interest. I’m saddened by the events of Aug 3rd and 4th. I wish there was more I could do to prevent mass gun crime and more I could do to console the families and friends these tragedies.
When tyrannical trump final stated with out equivocation that white supremacy is wrong. I wonder how long it will be before he again attacks members with different skin complication? And when he is called on it berates the racist characterization as dirty politics and “fake news.” He must be held accountable for his inciting division in the country. There can be no other term for his attacks. He pits us against ourselves.
Almost every time he speaks or tweets, he does it to incite his base. His attacks on the liberals can not be mistaken for anything but a leader of a mob mentality. But while tyrannical trump is the poster child, I will not forgive members on the other side of the aisle. They sling mud as well and look for the worst in their opponents, they highlight the differences and not the similarities in beliefs. These crimes will not stop until there is a more civil discourse in Washington.
Gun Control
I’ve heard the comments this week. Tell me why a citizen in the US needs a weapon which shots more than 1 round with a single trigger pull. Yes, the 2nd Amendment talks about people forming a militia, I don’t believe in the 2nd Amendment the way is is written and the way it is defended.
When the 2nd Amendment was written, not only did most weapons not have the ability to fire more than 1 round. But after firing that round there would be a delay while the shooter either picked up another loaded weapon or had to reload. These mass shootings would never be possible in the world of 1800. The 2nd Amendment needs to rewritten in order to protect the right to bear non-military arms.
Tyrannical Trump’s assumption that these mass murders are committed by the mentally ill
I agree with him and yes mental illness is not properly treated in this country. I also agree that anyone who commits random acts of violence is also mentally ill. Identifying those people will be the problem. How do we recognize the illness before the actions are taken.
Tyrannical trump has mocked the mentally challenged in the past. Most mentally challenged individuals are neither a danger to themselves or those around them. The way the current mental health system works is a revolving door between an extremely controlled environment and the freedoms of the world at large. The biggest change which needs to occur are creating more half way houses, so freedoms can be restored and earned while the patient recovers gradually.
Tyrannical trump felt that we need to force incarceration. But we need to be careful not to incarcerate law abiding citizens who disagree with tyrannical trump. Tyrannical trump is already using his justice department to investigate his opponents. How much of a stretch is incarcerating his opponents because they must be mentally ill because they disagree with him.
A week has passed…
I wrote most of what is above right after the events in El Paso and Dayton occurred. I did not publish immediately because I was concerned that it would sound like a rant. I’m impressed that tyrannical trump has toned down his rhetoric a little or maybe it is my imagination. I have also been traveling this weekend, attended my 50th high school reunion and am now visiting my mother.
She will turn 99 while I am here.
I’m still waiting for the next rant from tyrannical trump.
