Wow… Good News!

What a process…

Governor DeSantis finally came through. Appointments were made available for Saturday through Wednesday this morning at 6 am. The early bird truly does get the worm finally.

I went through the same process on Wednesday for appointments on Thursday and Friday. Today I was up at 5:40. I logged onto 5 separate devices. Personnel phone, work phone, personnel computer, work computer, and my Kindle Fire. The silk browser for the Amazon device did not work, so I abandon it and waited.

At 6:00 all the devices switched for the counties from fully booked to appointments available. My work computer did not update until several minutes later. I figured all the computers were in the queue.

And then I waited… and waited.

Until about 7:15 when the work computer added a button which said Book Appointment. Yea! Top of queue! The next few minutes were nerve wracking.

Slowly, I went through a check of the status of the other connections. Finally went back the work computer and I don’t know what I did, but the page for entering data was back

Name, phone number, medicare card, health questions, etc… Page 1, page 2, page 3, page 4 and finally select a time slot. I confirmed that I had read the materials, and that I was not a robot and then the Continue Button wasn’t available.

At one point, it felt like I lost the connection. Oh, Solid Excrement.

I checked and my information was still there. I went back and decided to try another appointment date later in the available time period. The CONTINUE button now was available and worked. Voila! My appointment was scheduled with a screen to print out my appointment.

Relief…

The beginning of the end is near for me. Hope everyone finds their shot soon.
