While he is still president
His important nature can not be denied.
I found the following on Smartnews this morning. https://chicago.suntimes.com/2020/12/30/22204763/move-inauguration-day-presidential-transition-2020-trump-letters The article is a discussion on changing the inauguration day, to limit the damage done by the outgoing president.
I like the idea. Maybe we should add taking Congress out of the picture as well. It makes sense in today’s world of instant news that we should be able to shorten the time between election day and the final determination of a president elect. With that being true, then why wait to inaugurate the winner. Please read the article for the rest of the reasoning.
An little note at the end of the article caught my eye as well.
“Goodbye to 2020, and soon Donald Trump
As this year and the Donald Trump presidency near their joyfully anticipated close, I think about the arc of American history, from a first president who could tell no lies to one who cannot speak the truth to save his life.
In my mind’s eye, I picture a young Donald Trump, murdered cherry tree at his feet, with hatchet in hand and wood chips in his hair, pronouncing the whole thing fake news and trying to pin the blame on China, George Soros and the deep state.
Jan. 20, 2021 cannot come quickly enough.

This is a perfect reflection of Donald Trump and the american people. It represents how far from the ideals of our forefathers Donald Trump is. I hope we don’t forget.
The next week worries me…
How far will Donald Trump and his supporters go in Washington, D.C. this week to try to overturn the will of the people? Just because we disagreed with the election of Donald Trump, by an even smaller margin (Hillary won the popular vote) than elected Joe Biden. Hillary Clinton and her supporters did not protest the election.
Donald Trump signaled a debate in 2016 that he would be a sore loser. We should not be surprised. The man is the baby depicted by the balloon which first appeared in London. We must not teach our children the lesson that Donald Trump is to be admired.
He is a loser. Worse still a sore loser, which makes him scum. Every term of derision he has applied to those who have stood against him applies to him. Funny how the worm turns.
After January 20th, in the terms of the terminator its.
