Certification of Electors.

We need to understand the constitution. Donald Trump does not need to overturn the results of the elections in 3 states with one being Pennsylvania. He only needs to prevent certification of the results.

If Donald Trump succeeds in this effort, Joe Biden is prevented from getting the required 270 Electoral Votes in Early December and the election swings into the House of Representatives. Then the election gets stacked in Donald Trump’s favor.

Why? The Democrats control the house.

Because in this case it is not a majority of votes by the members of the house. It is one vote for each state. The Republicans control 26 states and therefore Donald Trump will win a second term as President.

This is scary stuff people. Donald Trump and his legal team just need to blow enough smoke to make it that states are unable to certify. An extended legal battle in multiple states is all he needs.

The Supreme Court

Should the Supreme Court come into play, the republicans have a 6-3 majority, thanks to the appointment of Amy Comey Barrett. Donald Trump rushed this appointment just for this case. He is hoping that her vote will prolong the legal process.

Again, he doesn’t have to win the legal battle, only prolong the battle so enough states are unable to certify the results and give him the presidency.
