Donald Trump Has Handled the Virus?
Recent studies have shown that the locations with mask mandates have been able to slow the spread significantly. This one fact is an indication that Donald Trump has done a horrible job of handling the virus.
Despite early suggestions from his scientific advisors that masks could help slow the spread, he insisted it was voluntary and that he himself would not wear one. That was the example he wished to convey. He held an indoor super spreader event in Tulsa, OK and in Arizona where masks were optional and social distancing did not occur.
This is his leadership. He ignores science and opens up without clear guidelines. He flaunts the rules and places his need for good economic numbers ahead of the safety of those he leads.
It is Clear. Mask Mandates Work.
So now with almost 3 months of summer experiment behind us, it is clear. Wearing a mask helps slow the spread significantly. President Trump has said it is patriotic to wear a mask, yet he still is seldom if ever seen wearing a mask.
Following his example has cost many lives. Any suggestion to the contrary is not born out by facts. Anything else is a lie. As long as Donald Trump continues to tell us he is doing a great job, he is lying. The lying at this point has gone on too long. We now have a Trump virus which has killed over 175,000 Americans and he calls that acceptable.
All the while he says we are doing too much testing. All the while claim that our death rate per cases is low. That is just crazy.
Because we are doing testing we may be identifying cases which we otherwise would not. That means that it is because we are doing a lot of test that our death rate per cases is low. If we were not doing wide spread testing the only cases would be the severe cases and then our death rate per cases would be higher.
What can be measured is this. With 1/25 of the worlds population, we have 1/4 of the deaths.
Stop lying to us Donald Trump.
We are smarter than this. I hope Biden and the Democrats start calling this by its proper name.
