What a Great Day.
Joe Biden is President of the United States.
Gone are the morning waking up to news of Donald Trump’s twitter rants. Also, we now are provided with empathy and reason. Science now is considered before making decisions on health care. What a difference it makes?
FEMA was immediately called up to assist with the Texas debacle. We have a president of the United States, not of just the red states.
Soon we will have Merrick Garland as the Attorney General. An independent head of the justice department who will serve our country and our interests and not be a mouth piece for the president.
In other words we now have a back to normal executive branch of government.
I received my 2nd dose of COVID vaccine Tuesday.
Moderna caused a day of extreme fatigue as those antibodies took hold. After giving in for a day to recover, I woke up this morning feeling refreshed and ready to tackle today. A foggy morning has turned into a beautiful day.
I have energy today, I have not had for several months. Plan’s call for a couple of months to enjoy the Florida sun and then off to visit my son on the west coast. It will be good to be mobile again.

Reading. I’m reading junky legal thrillers. Authors Robin James and Sheldon Siegel recent enjoyable sidelights. I’m interested in getting back into science fiction. Anyone know of authors I should look into?
And I continue to play bridge online. The recent results are disappointing, but I do have fun.
