Life has a path to repair…

Joe Biden is now president of the United States. I feel like the air is less heavy and that each breath is easier. There is no other way to describe it. A big load has been lifted. Health and good cheer is now possible.

Ahhh…

I’m glad Joe Biden is president. Is a time of reconciliation possible? My hope is that Joe Biden gets a 100 day honeymoon. He certainly has a desire to listen to both sides. The question is if the opposition is willing to listen with an open mind and heart.

A flurry of executive orders…

Biden’s immediate action to undo the recent past via executive order is encouraging. The previous administration used executive orders to restructure our government institutions. There is much that needs to be undone.

No federal plan for vaccine distribution…

Surprise, surprise. The previous administration had no federal plan to distribute and administer the vaccine. To quickly defeat this virus requires implementation of this plan.

After a cupboard was bare excuse used, anyone with an ounce of compassion would fill the cupboard and provide a plan. Of course compassion was not the previous administrations long suit. That changed yesterday.

There will be a plan, coordinated by competent administrators. What a refreshing thought. The hope is the goals established can be met and exceeded.

Selfishly…

I’ll judge success when I get my shot. The hope is that the counts of vaccinations will continue to rise quickly. This distribution will be challenging.

The previous administration,

Could not walk and chew gum at the same time. It is time to start running. This is a marathon and not a sprint.
